amExpress is a daily e-mail newsletter from amNewYork that takes readers inside the news, events and people who define the New York experience. It is an attempt to reimagine the role of a newspaper columnist in a digital world.
I managed the launch of the newsletter — from defining the project’s initial concept to working with Mark Chiusano, the first amExpress columnist. I help Mark refine his column ideas, edit for clarity and style and shape the column’s web presence. I also work with amNY’s marketing department to increase the newsletter’s reach.
